Test Preparation Specialist Graduate Assistant

Position Summary:
·       Providing individual test prep support to undergraduate and graduate students on a case by case basis.
·       Assist students in securing testing accommodations where needed
·       Assist students in interpreting FTCE score reports and test analyses
 
Anticipated Employment Dates: May 17- August 13, 2021 and August 23 – May 1, 2022
Supervisor Name, Department: Dr. Scott Hewit, Department of Education,
 
Scheduled Hours: Flexible schedule Monday – Friday, up to 10 hours per week, as needed. 
 
Work Environment: 
·       Computer work
·       Working with students 
·       Reviewing and analyzing numbers and reports 
·       Ability to meet with students in person and online
 
Desired Qualifications/Special Skills:
·       The successful applicant will have passed at least the FTCE General Knowledge Exam and ideally either the FTCE Professional Education Exam or the Subject Area Exam.
·       Must have accepted an admission offer to the MAT: Elementary Education or MAT: Education programs as a full time student (9 credit hours per semester) 
 
Anticipated Learning Outcomes:
 
·       As a result of providing test prep support there will be a better than 75% pass rate on the specific tests and subtests for which test prep support is provided. 
 
Number of Available Positions:
 One position available for each of the dates below. Can be two different candidates or the same one.

·       May 17- August 13, 2021
·       August 23 – May 1, 2022
